Tarisa came to Marsember to be a nanny and governess to Lord and Lady Bluestar's son, Corrigan, but she has since left that job and begun training as a healer. She was born in the small village of Khymrych, about a hundred leagues southeast of Marsember, and still holds Khymrych's patron goddess, Nacheyla, in reverence. When her training allows, she spends time with her friends at the Meade Hall.

Tarri is human, about five and a half feet tall, of slender build, and about 20 years old. She has very short blonde hair, large green eyes, and pale skin. She usually wears a simply-cut dress of linen or finely spun wool.
