<Sanriel> ::beams happily at Tarri for a minute:: Wow.. I feel so lucky!
* Tarri grins shyly. "Me, too."
* Sanriel hugs Tarri again, heedless once again of the glances and looks of passersby
<Tarri> ::smiles:: So where were you headed, anyway?
<Sanriel> ::blushes:: I forget.
<Tarri> ::giggles:: Well, walk with me on my errand, then?
<Sanriel> ::bounces happily:: I'd be glad to!
<Tarri> ::takes his hand and sets off down the street::
<Sanriel> What errand are you running? ::smiles::
<Tarri> Some things for Corri... Diapers, a carry-sling...
<Sanriel> A carry sling? ::grins:: Is he starting to get bigger?
<Tarri> ::laughs:: Only a tiny bit. But a sling is easier than a basket.
<Sanriel> ::still grinning:: I have no idea where we would get such a thing. So I'll just follow you. ::softer, smiling:: Happily.
* Tarri squeezes San's hand gently, and continues to walk through the streets. "How is school going?"
<Sanriel> Classes are fine.... ::little sigh:: Sometimes the reading and the homework is still pretty hard, even with the help and the leeway they're giving me. I think it's kinda supposed to be hard, though. I've never really done anything like this before. Not this way... I always learned by being shown, and doing.
<Tarri> ::nods:: I'll help all I can, you know that.
<Sanriel> ::reaches up to caress Tarri's arm for a moment:: I know.. thank you. ::smiles::
<Tarri> ::blushes a little and smiles::
<Tarri> What about the... the *doing* parts? Didn't you say they were going to start teaching you some of that?
<Sanriel> ::nods:: Yeah, it's most just exercises right now. No one's done anything yet, but it's supposed to take a little while. Sometimes it just takes a while, and some people start later than others. But it's not supposed to make much difference when or how you start, just that you get there.
* Tarri smiles brightly at him. "I'm sure you'll get there soon!"
<Sanriel> ::smiles back:: I hope so, too! That first time all by yourself if supposed to be one of the first big obstacles. I sort of did it with Glossaria, but she was helping me a lot with focusing. This is supposed to be completely on our own.
<Tarri> Oh. I guess that means I can't really offer to help, either. ::she smiles and hugs his arm a little::
<Sanriel> Just knowing you're rooting for me is a help, Tarri. ::blushes a little, but smiles widely::
<Tarri> ::grins:: Of course I am!
<Sanriel> ::giggle:: I feel like I can do *anything*, now!
<Tarri> ::laughs::
<Sanriel> I think the most annoying thing is the work I have to do after class, though... ::grins ruefully:: If you see me a bit less, it's because of that.
<Sanriel> Though... ::shyly:: Some of the reading I could bring by... and I could work on reading it with your head in my lap...
<Tarri> ::blushes:: That sounds nice. And I could help if you had trouble.
<Sanriel> ::nods happily:: Yeah, that would be nice, wouldn't it?
<Tarri> Oh, yes. Why don't you, then?
<Sanriel> ::squeezes Tarri's hand and skips a couple of steps:: Okay!
* Sanriel leans over to kiss Tarri's cheek as they walk along, then straightens up and smiles goofily.
<Tarri> ::blushes a little and smiles up at him::
<Sanriel> ::bounces:: Know what?
<Tarri> ::grins at his enthusiasm:: What?
<Sanriel> ::smiles enthusiastically:: I love you!
<Tarri> ::giggles:: I love you, too.
* Tarri points ahead a little. "There's the shop!" She pulls him into the fabric store and begins haggling with the shopkeeper over various weights of cloth.
* Sanriel smiles and follows Tarri inside, looking around with interest at the different types of cloth.
<Sanriel> ::quietly:: Wow... so many different kinds...
<Tarri> ::grins at him:: Your dad was a tailor, Sanriel. How can you be so amazed by cloth?
<Sanriel> ::blushes:: But not in a city, Tarri... He talked about working with some other types of cloth... ::doesn't quite touch some silk:: but I never really saw any of it.
<Tarri> Oh. ::flushes:: I wasn't thinking...
<Sanriel> ::shakes his head and smiles:: It's okay.
* Tarri smiles at him and leaves him to contemplate the piles of cloth while she continues negotiation with the shop keeper.
* Sanriel peruses a bit, grinning at some of the colors before moving to stand a little behind Tarri.
* Tarri finishes up haggling for a small stack of assorted cloth, charging it to the Bluestars' account. Then she pauses for a moment, looking at a display of ribbons.
<Sanriel> ::smiles and pays careful attention to what Tarri is admiring, then leans over and speak quietly:: They're pretty.
<Tarri> ::hesitates another moment, then buys two feet of red silk ribbon with her own money. She smiles at San:: Aren't they?
<Sanriel> ::picks up the cloths and grins:: What are you going to do with it?
<Tarri> ::grins at him mischievously:: You'll see.
<Sanriel> ::giggles:: Okay, I can wait. ::tucks everything into one arm and takes Tarri's hand again:: Was there anything else, Princess? ::grins::
<Tarri> ::giggles:: Nothing in particular, no.
<Sanriel> Okay, then. May I walk you back to your palace? ::escorts Tarri out of the fabric shop, smiling::
<Tarri> ::takes Sanriel's arm regally, the effect someone spoiled by her giggles::
* Sanriel stands mostly proudly, but shaking slightly with laughter.
* Sanriel gives up and hugs Tarri tightly with his free arm, grinning and laughing.
* Tarri giggles again and leans against his arm for a moment.
<Sanriel> ::starts walking Tarri home, but not too quickly:: Hmmm... ::looks thoughtful::
<Tarri> What is it? ::she grins at him::
<Sanriel> ::grins back:: I'm thinking maybe I came out here hoping to meet you. ::blushes a little::
<Tarri> ::blushes and giggles:: You're so sweet.
<Sanriel> ::blushes some more:: So how is Corri doing? Still being good for you?
<Tarri> Mostly. He's been fussy lately. ::she smiles at him:: Babies go through these phases.
<Sanriel> Awww, not too bad, I hope. ::smiles::
<Tarri> Oh... ::she smiles:: It's okay. I'm sure he'll get over it soon.
<Sanriel> Well... ::blushes a little:: I know a hug from you always makes *me* feel better.
* Tarri giggles and gives Sanriel a hug.
* Sanriel sighs in sheer bliss
* Tarri giggles.
<Sanriel> ::blushes a little and giggles:: See what I mean? All my problems just vanished!
<Tarri> ::looks slightly concerned:: Problems?
<Sanriel> ::grins and shakes his head:: I don't have any problems. I don't even care about the classwork. Well.. except what I'll bring over for you to help me with.
<Tarri> ::giggles a little:: I'm looking forward to that.
<Sanriel> ::squeezes Tarri's hand and looks a little dreamy-eyed:: Me, too.
