<Sanriel> ::sits down on his bed with a small groan, then takes a deep breath:: Whew. It is a little bit tiring doing all that walking. ::small sigh:: I wonder how long this is going to take to heal up so I can really move around again? ::looks up at Tarri with a small smile::

<Tarri> ::smiles sympathetically and sits next to him, taking his hand:: Well... It looks like a couple of weeks still before we can be sure you won't open your leg back up. And it'll be a while after that before you get the full range of motion and strength back. Those were some *deep* wounds...

<Sanriel> ::squeezes Tarri's hand gently:: I just... wish it were faster. I feel so limited like this. ::shakes his head, then smiles:: I'm sorry, I don't mean to be mopey.

* Sanriel rubs his left thigh gently.

<Tarri> ::slides an arm around him:: It's all right, sweetling. You've been so amazingly good about all of this... Maybe, once the worst danger is past, we can get Lady Quel'shu to agree to some... some localized healing magic. To speed it up a little.

<Sanriel> We'll see... ::leans comfortably into Tarri with a smile:: It would be nice... but there is still a bright side either way... I get to spend so much time with you. ::smiles lovingly::

<Tarri> ::blushes a little and hugs Sanriel a little closer:: I like spending the time with you, too. I'm glad I can help the slow time pass a little more pleasantly. ::she gently touches his face::

<Sanriel> ::closes his eyes and sighs happily:: more than just a little...

* Sanriel opens his eyes again and smiles at Tarri, then kisses her gently

<Tarri> ::closes her eyes to return the kiss:: mmmm...

<Sanriel> I love you, Tarri. ::rests his forehead lightly against hers::

<Tarri> ::sighs happily and shifts slightly so she can slide both arms around his neck:: I love you, too, Sanriel.

<Sanriel> Have you thought any more about your plans? Our plans? Like when to go visit your home... and how long to stay..?

<Tarri> Oh... ::she glances back at her small lapdesk, which lays mostly forgotten in the corner of the room, and hedges slightly:: Well, it depends on how you heal...

<Sanriel> No rush, beloved... ::looks a little concerned:: Is something bothering you?

<Tarri> ::smiles at him:: I love it when you call me that. ::small sigh:: Nothing, really... I just... I'm a little overdue for a letter home. But every time I start, I don't know what to say. ::she smiles slightly at him:: I'm sure I'll work it out soon, sweetling.

<Sanriel> ::runs his fingers up through Tarri's hair:: Well you are...

<Sanriel> ::smiles:: Can I help at all?

<Tarri> ::sighs contentedly at the touch, smiling:: mmmMM. I don't know... What would you say if you had to write *your* parents right now?

<Sanriel> ::chuckles:: "Look, I can write!"

<Tarri> ::laughs::

<Sanriel> ::shakes his head and smiles:: I'd let them know I was okay.. that I love them and miss them. That I've found so many wonderful things, that I'm learning so *much*. ::smiles at Tarri:: That I've fallen in love with the most wonderful woman in the world...

<Tarri> ::blushes, smiling::

<Sanriel> What are you trying to say that's giving you trouble? Maybe if you can say it to me it might help a little?

<Tarri> ::looks at him soberly:: I- I'm trying to tell him about the a-attack. Without worrying him so much that he makes me go home again.

<Sanriel> Oh... ::falls silent and holds Tarri close::

<Tarri> ::sighs and leans into Sanriel's embrace, nodding:: Yes. Oh. Everything I say just... I can't *not* tell him about it, San. But... ::she sighs again::

<Sanriel> ::nods slowly:: Yeah...

<Sanriel> Would... would you go back if he told you to?

<Tarri> ::hesitates a long time:: I... don't think so. ::she looks up, tears in her eyes:: It's not home any more, really. And I... I don't think I could leave you, even if he said I had to. But it would be awfully hard. I love him, too.

<Sanriel> oh, beloved... ::kisses Tarri's eyes softly and sighs::

* Tarri lays her head on Sanriel's shoulder, holding him close. "I love you, Sanriel."

<Sanriel> Maybe... maybe just tell him that you and I were attacked, but we're okay. We *are* okay.

<Sanriel> I love you too, Tarri...

<Sanriel> But we did get through it, and we have Master Malkier watching over us now... we're safe no matter where we go.

<Tarri> ::nods slowly against his shoulder:: I know... I'm just... not sure how to phrase it to Papa.

<Tarri> ::with a hint of mischief:: Besides, Lord Malkier is watching over *you*. I'm just incidental.

<Sanriel> You are most certainly *not* incidental. ::kisses Tarri lightly::

<Tarri> ::giggles a little:: I meant, to Lord Malkier. You've made *your* opinion pretty well known. ::she smiles:: I'm glad for that. ::kisses him back::

<Sanriel> Well then we'll just have to make sure we're always, always together, then. ::grins happily::

<Tarri> Hmmm, sounds nice. ::she grins at him and kisses the tip of his nose:: You'll have to teach me a *lot* more about being in the woods.

<Sanriel> As much as you want to learn, Tarri. ::lets out a little giggle and rubs the tip of his nose with hers::

<Tarri> ::sighs and snuggles close:: Whatever I have to, so we can be together and happy.

<Sanriel> ::pets Tarri's hair softly, making happy murmuring noises:: I love you so much, Tarri.

<Tarri> ::squeezes Sanriel gently, careful of his still-healing side:: I love you, too, San. I wish we could be together always.

<Sanriel> As much as possible, sweetheart. ::smiles:: I always want to be there with you...

<Sanriel> ::small sigh:: Maybe you should tell your father that..?

<Tarri> ::considers:: Mm. Maybe I should. He and Mama *did* run away to get married.

<Sanriel> ::small smile:: Really? That's kinda romantic.

<Tarri> ::nods:: Kinda, yeah...

<Sanriel> I guess just... tell him the truth simply. We can tell him more if he really needs to know when we get there... ::a trifle nervous, but smiles encouragingly::

<Tarri> ::nods:: I'll try. ::she glances back at the writing desk:: I'll try again tomorrow.

<Tarri> So, um... ::she smiles up at him a little:: Depending on how you're healing... I think maybe we can leave in a couple of weeks, and stay maybe a week or so before we come back? How soon do you have to be back at school?

<Sanriel> Not 'till the end of the summer. ::brushes Tarri's hair back behind her ear, smiling down at her::

<Tarri> ::smiles up at him:: Is that too long? I know you're still a little nervous...

<Sanriel> ::shakes his head:: It's not too long.. we can stay as long as you want. I *am* still a little nervous, but... I'll be okay. I'll be with you. ::smiles::

<Tarri> ::strokes the side of his face gently:: My brave prince.

<Sanriel> ::blushes a little::

<Sanriel> ::smiles:: Anything for my Princess... ::snuggles closer::

<Tarri> ::grins a little at his blush and happily snuggles close:: I love you so much, San... You're so amazing I just can't believe it sometimes. ::she sighs happily::

<Sanriel> ::blushes deeper red, kissing Tarri's hair:: I love you, too... I love you, too.

<Tarri> Mmmm... That's pretty amazing, too.

<Sanriel> ::softly:: not at all... the amazing part is that you picked *me*... ::smiles into Tarri's hair::

<Tarri> ::giggles:: It sure seems amazing to *me*. And just imagine how far we both had to come to find each other... I sure wish I knew if there was a god I owed thanks to for bringing me to you. ::she snuggles a little closer::

<Sanriel> It is pretty incredible, isn't it? ::happy sigh:: But we're here now, together...

<Sanriel> As we should be. ::smiles and squeezes Tarri tightly::

<Tarri> ::sighs happily and squeezes him back carefully:: Yes.

<Sanriel> ::breathes out long and happily:: Tarri.... mmmm.

<Tarri> ::looks up at him, smiling:: Mmm. My sweet Sanriel.

* Sanriel leans down and kisses Tarri gently.

<Tarri> ::sighs happily as she returns the kiss::
